Don't know why other people reviews are so bad. Maybe the chef was sicked that day for them.For us, it was the best sugar shack ever! Excellent services and very fast.The food was excellent. Especially their Sugar fudge pudding cake. YUMMY! Kids love all the outdoor activities.
Great location.. Perfect for wedding all inclusive... Unfortunately staff is very stressed about loud music and don't share venue during another event.. No soundproof available
Great place and the outdoor view is beautiful. From the chapel to it's outdoor ceremony capabilities to the banquet hall they have a nice theme that allows them to stand out from a lot of different halls. Staff were nice and helpful. Well organized and fast in getting things done.
As sugar shacks go, this one was an overall good experience. The food was nothing out of the ordinary, service was rushed and there are plenty of things for the kids to do once you go outside. A very busy place with lots of people coming and going so it made it a little chaotic at times. Outside seemed a cross between the usually things to see & do (maple on ice, livestock) and a carnival (rides of all kinds, games to play for prizes). Great for the family that wants to sugar them up and let the kiddos go have fun. Two helpful hints to a better experience, book a reservation online and go as early as possible in the day. See pic below of the long line that develops when you walk up & try to get in and go early before the crowds get there.
wedding: I had my wedding at this venue for the romantic outdoor idea... They said that every hall has an AC, well not in our reception hall! IOn july 14th, 2018 it was a hot summer day and night, No AC ! I had a headache and i was completely wet and sticky in my wedding dress. Almost fainted... Not to mention that all the guest were constantly in & out of the hall to catch some fresh air. So my reception was empty looking and made my night not enjoyable because everyone missed a part of a night while they were out. I wouldn't recommand this place in the summer! Also I complain about it to my coordinator, no action was taken and no explanation . After the a few days i called to adress this matter , they said they will verify and come back to me but no one return my call to explain what happened or to offer a compensation... Really dissapointing !
